Our providers have served as hospital medical directors, leaders in professional organizations, and community educators. Dr. Constance George, MD

Dr. Constance George hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her residency training in psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. George also holds a master’s degree in Bioethics and is active in the psychiatric community in education on medical and psychiatric ethics.  

Dr. George, a long tire provider of NPA, is retiring from private practice.
She is a long-term advocate for patient rights and is dedicated to improving the accessibility and affordability of medical care and will continue to do so.

Dr. Mouna Sfeir, MD

Dr Mouna Sfeir practices Adult Psychiatry. She is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She attended Residency Training in Psychiatry at Boston University in Boston, MA, followed by Brown University in Providence, RI, where she completed her training in 1997. She practiced General Psychiatry for 6 years at the Chenango County Mental Health Center in Norwich, NY, before relocating to Austin in 2004.

She has been a Psychiatrist with Neuropsychiatric Associates of Austin since 2007. She values and enjoys collaborating with therapists, counselors, and other doctors to provide effective treatment for her patients. She resonates with the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere here in Austin.

Dr Sfeir is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Note to prospective patients: A credit card deposit of $160 is required to reserve an initial evaluation with Dr Sfeir. You will only be charged if you do not show up for a scheduled initial evaluation, or if you cancel or reschedule the appointment less than 48 hours prior to the appointment.

Nina Gul, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Nina Gul graduated from the University of Texas as a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).  She has prescriptive authority and is licensed to perform psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy.  She has been in private practice since 2015.

Nina primarily works with adults treating a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Her approach to mental health care is holistic and she views treatment planning as a continuous process which she undertakes in collaboration with clients and, if desired, their families.  Her previous work experience includes critical care nursing as well as clinical research.

Please note: 

  • Nina sees patients by telemedicine appointment.  In-person visits will be scheduled (once or twice yearly) in accordance with State rules and regulations.

  • Insurance accepted: BCBS, UHC, Cigna, Aetna.

  • Currently accepting new patients.

Michelle Marshall, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Michelle Marshall is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Originally from upstate New York, she relocated to Austin in 2010 and has since built a career focused on mental health and substance use treatment.

She earned her Registered Nursing degree in 2003 and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Alabama in 2017. Michelle provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and incorporates brief, solution-focused therapy into her care. She is also a certified Suboxone provider with experience in medication-assisted treatment, dual diagnosis care, and substance use disorders.

In addition to private practice, Michelle has worked at the University of Texas Medical Branch, residential dual diagnosis treatment facilities, and within the county jail system, providing her with broad experience in complex psychiatric care.

Michelle sees patients by appointment Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. She accepts Cigna PPO, Humana PPO, United Healthcare PPO, Aetna PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Magellan, Medicare, Oscar and United HMO, as well as private pay.
