Founded in 1972 by Dr. Stuart Nemir and Dr. Tracy Gordy, Neuropsychiatric Associates of Austin (NPA) was built on a shared vision of integrating brain and behavior in the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. That foundation continues to guide our practice today. For more than five decades, NPA physicians have been leaders in psychiatric care in Austin, Texas with providers serving as educators and active members of the psychiatric community. Dr. Sfeir and Dr. George joined the practice in 2007 advancing community care principles in a private practice setting. Nurse practitioners’ Nienke Gul and Michelle Marshall run robust clinics in the practice, providing evidence-based care and support for individuals and families seeking high-quality mental health care.

Treatment for mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, ADD and ADHD, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, substance abuse disorders, thought disorders including schizophrenia, delusional disorders and personality disorders.
